I started to do reasearch for the background info. i'm doing information about autism. I plan on tying the info to Christopher and using examples from him to show how the author worked in autism.

During his early career years, mark assisted at an autistic children’s school, and later worked as a cartoonist and illustrator. His first book was written in 2003 and became a widely acclaimed novel, The curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-Time. His earlier years of working alongside autistic children inspired him to write in the point of view of an autistic teenager. He originally intended the book to be geared towards an adult audience, including many complex themes and ideas.
